About me
I’m a licensed guide in Spain and I lead tours for US companies in my country and abroad.
The youngest of four siblings, I was born and raised in Úbeda, a Unesco Heritage Site in Andalusia.
Its beauty instilled in me a passion for Art and History that I love to share with travellers visiting my country.
I moved to Granada in 1992, where I gained a major in Linguistics and English.
I studied at Galway University in Ireland and also spent some time living in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Upon returning to Granada I worked as a teacher of Spanish for international students and also as sthe onsite co-manager for an US Study Abroad Program in Granada.
One of my best friends was my mentor in my current career: leading tours for American travellers in Spain and abroad.
This job has given me the opportunity to travel all over Spain, Europe, Morocco and Cuba. A demanding, but exciting job, that allows me to also enjoy the long off-season with my better half. When not on the road I enjoy my other passions, mountain biking and hiking.
